After three days of auditing from awarding body ISOQAR, Oakpark Security has been awarded an improved +168 score as part of our membership of the Security Industry Authority’s Approved Contractor Scheme (ACS). This score represents an increase of two points from last years result and ensures that Oakpark Security remain firmly in the top 2% of all ACS-accredited companies.

The objective of the SIA’s Approved Contractor Scheme is to raise performance standards and to assist the private security industry in developing new opportunities. The scheme is voluntary and was developed in consultation with representatives from across the industry. It offers companies the chance to attain a maximum score of +174, with only 5% scoring above 150.

As well as their examination of our processes and documentation, the auditors also spent time on the road with our Operations team. They visited our customers in areas of manned guarding and keyholding and discussed their service delivery from Oakpark Security. They also spoke to a number of our frontline staff on matters such as job knowledge, regulatory compliance and their treatment in the workplace. A big thanks to all customers and staff who made time to sit down with the auditors!

Oakpark Security also retained our ISO9001, BS:14001 and BS:18001 accreditations, further demonstrating our commitment to best practice in the areas of Quality Management, Environmental Management, and Health & Safety Management.

Operations Director Peter Sutton commented: “This is another great outcome for Oakpark Security firmly placing us amongst the elite members of the Approved Contractor Scheme. Of the 758 members of the scheme, Oakpark Security are in the top 2% which is a reflection of the efforts and innovations we have made in terms of data gathering & analysis in particular. I’m very proud of the team and we will continue introducing new ideas to maintain our place at the summit of the Private Security Industry in terms of service quality.”
