We are delighted to have completed the inaugural session of our new Security Officer Trauma course designed and delivered by Medical Training Solutions.
The aim of the bespoke course is to build on the mandatory Emergency First Aid at Work qualification that is now mandatory within the SIA licensing process. Our aim is to provide our front-line security teams with the skills necessary to deal with incidents with blade or needle-related trauma. Candidates will gain critical life-saving skills that can be self-applied or used to assist a member of the public in the event of a knife-related injury.
Five colleagues successfully completed the one-day course on the day and another fifteen colleagues are already scheduled to undertake this training next month as part of our commitment within the Vertas Group to place paramount important on our people and their welfare at work.
