The last fortnight has proved to be one of the busiest on record for our East Anglian operations team. Our Cambridge and Ipswich-based Operations Managers have completed several mobilisations across the region which has expanded our portfolio of medium and long term manned guarding clients.
Our Cambridge team, led by Alastair Munro, has secured a new agreement with a prominent social care organisation in the East of England. As a result, Oakpark Security will provide a manned security presence at their Cambridge location in order to supplement and support the in-house duty staff. Key to this award was the ability of Oakpark Security to supply additional SIA licensed personnel at short notice if required using our new team of Regional Relief Security Officers across Cambridgeshire.
A project team working from our Head Office in Colchester has also completed a rapid mobilisation of over 30 mobile patrol and keyholding sites for a national provider with less than a week’s notice. The sites stretch across three counties (Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire) and will be serviced using our existing mobile response network in these areas, with vehicles operating out of our Regional Offices in Cambridge and Ilford. The project group worked in two teams to survey sites, collect and process keys, and complete inductions with our mobile patrol drivers in these areas.
