After several phases of discussions to build the appropriate security solution, Oakpark Security have been retained by a customer in Clacton, Essex to provide increased resilience to their supported housing project.
Our client engaged Oakpark Security initially for a series of informal discussions about their project and their desire to introduce greater resilience within the property while at the same time not reducing the residents to a ‘fortress mentality’ with large amounts of visible physical security. During a site visit by our Security Consultant Anthony Miller, they also impressed upon him the need to recognise that many of the residents were ‘vulnerable adults’ and must be treated as such by any security staff onsite.
As a result, Oakpark Security established a visible patrol and inspection regime for the site that supplemented the customer’s staff during peak times of activity and offered a layer of protection during those hours when the site was unmanned. Part of our Assignment Instructions for this contract was detailed information on the client’s Safeguarding guidelines to help our staff effectively deal with any incidents onsite.
Head of Oakpark Security Peter Sutton commented: “This is another excellent win for our Patrol & Response team in the Tendring district of Essex – one of our key target areas for this year. It was particularly pleasing to see the consultancy efforts of our business development team rewarded by the customer.”
