Oakpark Security have been active in Cambridgeshire since 2014 when we decided to open a Regional Office to support a new contract win in the manned guarding sector. This was followed shortly after with the acquisition of a small Cambridge-based patrol and response company to further solidify our position in this area.
Since that time, the Cambridge Regional Office has expanded organically and now operates across Cambridgeshire with the addition of manned guarding assignments in St Neots, Ely and Huntingdon. Our Cambridge Patrol & Response team has also expanded during the same period as we have increased our keyholding portfolio in the area, to the point where an additional response vehicle was added to this Regional Office at the start of this year.
Our Regional Offices in Cambridge, Bury St Edmunds and Norwich now have dedicated local management to ensure regular client liaison and to effectively coordinate the deployment of our recently enhanced pool of regional relief Security Officers. Operations Manager Alastair Munro is heading up our service delivery across Cambridgeshire, putting his 20 years of industry experience to good use. A key part of Alastair’s role is to ensure that Oakpark Security are operationally ready for the significant influx of technology-focused businesses into East Anglia as the Cambridge-Norwich Tech Corridor continues to develop.

Our team remains busy developing our service delivery models around those sectors which dominate the business landscape in Cambridge, particularly technology, pharma, research & development, software and, of course, education! In all these business sectors, Oakpark Security have developed a specific service blueprint that can be refined with value-added initiatives once our Security Risk Analysis details the nuances of each individual customer.
