During the COVID-19 pandemic, the team at Oakpark Security are working to ensure that we provide an uninterrupted delivery of service to our clients using the PHE guidance on social distancing.

Following the Government instruction on 23rd March for all non-essential work travel to cease and for only retail outlets providing essential items to remain open, we are already seeing significant numbers of our existing clients choose to close their buildings completely. Others meanwhile are restricting access and implementing stringent access control arrangements to allow only essential work to be undertaken.

During these challenging times, our team are able to support your business resilience by adding protection to what may be a now vacant property, or to reassure staff by offering a high-visibility presence that will help manage increased demand during peak times by the general public.

Below are some examples of how we are currently supporting commercial customers:

Temporary Manned Security

For those businesses who have streamlined their workforce to skeleton levels, the provision of a temporary SIA-licensed Security Officer will allow regulated access into the workplace and prevent any confusion surrounding access arrangements into the building. By using a Security Officer, your business will also be protected if there are materials or stock that have been left onsite during a temporary halt in business operations.

Mobile Patrols

Our patrol and response network is one of the largest in East Anglia and the South Coast of England, with 16 patrol vehicles continuing to operating during the COVID-19 pandemic in order to provide essential services to our customers. Our patrol service can be utilised in the short-term and can be amended in volume on a day-to-day basis in line with the evolving requirements of your business.

Retail Marshals

We are able to provide SIA-licensed Marshals to support the control of people in and out of your retail premises in accordance with Government guidance on social distancing. Marshals will be clearly uniformed to the public and able to engage in a professional and customer-focused manner. They will provide a visible and reassuring access control to your retail premises during periods of increased consumer footfall.

Receipt of Deliveries

For those businesses who are continuing to receive deliveries despite a significantly reduced workforce, Oakpark Security can assist through the provision of a timed unlock/lock of your building in order to take receipt of key supplies. Our mobile response team can arrive at a pre-agreed time – or with limited notice – and provide access for the unloading and receiving of goods. An electronic receipt can be generated for the purposes of audit trail before the building is locked and re-alarmed.

Please note that each enquiry for additional services will be examined according to a stringent risk assessment in order that we can are offering the maximum level of protection to our frontline staff during this unprecedented time. Oakpark Security remain keen to support local businesses wherever we can but in doing so will follow the Government’s guidelines of social distancing at every opportunity
