Some excellent work by the Oakpark Security team over the Christmas period saw a number of temporary projects successfully completed without issue. Our Essex team carried out a significant mobile patrol assignment for a specialist construction project in Chelmsford, providing a large number of inspections to protect a crucial phase of the development project. All inspections were electronically verified using our SmartTask™ application and included photographic evidence.
We supported a major logistics customer in Essex with some additional protection during their Christmas rush, providing electronic searches of staff using hand-held metal detectors. This was a direct result of their risk profile shifting as a result of utilising large numbers of temporary staff in the build up to Christmas and the increased amount of goods being transported through their hub.
Finally, being the festive season, it was no surprise that we partnered with two customers in the meat & poultry industry who were looking to secure their locations until the close of business on Christmas Eve when the last of their commitments were fulfilled. As such we provided a blended solution of uniformed security officers and random mobile patrols to a portfolio of sites across Norfolk and Suffolk.
A huge well done to all of the Oakpark Security team who worked so tirelessly over the Christmas period to ensure that we were able to support our customers in the manner outlined in the examples above. With well in excess of a thousand shifts covered over the Christmas week, this represents an excellent effort by our staff across all Regional Offices.
