Service Provided: Security Personnel
Oakpark Security successfully won the contract to provide security personnel to this prominent local higher education institution in March 2011. When the customer arrived at the decision to place their security function out to tender, we proposed an innovative solution that emphasised increased management supervision for the onsite security personnel in order to address the concerns outlined by the customer’s Facilities Manager.
Having secured this prestigious contract, our Account Manager spent extensive time working with the security personnel attached to this account. The aim was to establish a better working relationship between our security personnel and the customer’s representatives working onsite, and ensure that the correct site procedures were adhered to at all times.
New ‘Assignment Instructions’ were issued for the contract, providing a comprehensive and easy-to-digest guide for security officers deployed on this site. Outstanding uniform and training issues were quickly resolved by our mobilisation team, who also ensured that an adequate number of trained support officers were available to service this contract. Regular Service Review meetings are also held with the customer to help resolve any future issues that may arise.
We are pleased to say that after two years of service, Oakpark Security is currently one of the highest performing external contractors utilised by this particular customer and we are now working towards an extension of our existing contract. This is a reflection of the ‘partnership approach’ that our Account Manager has developed with the customer’s facilities management team.
