We are looking for an SIA licensed individual to join our expanding mobile response team based in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. The role will involve using a company vehicle to do lock ups, patrols, and respond to intruder alarm activations.
Mobile Security Officers are supported at all times by our 24 Hour Security Operations Centre but the ideal candidates will be able to manage their nightly workload and accommodate additional tasks if so required. You will have to record all your job activities through our smartphone application - full training will be provided.
It will involve working a seven week roster that includes two weekends off every roster cycle. The role is mainly night-time work between 1900 and 0700 so candidates should therefore be comfortable with driving at night. All applicants must have a valid UK driving license (ideally no more than 3 points) and a valid SIA license (door supervision or security guarding).

Oakpark Security Systems LTD (Part of the Vertas Group) is a leading provider of security solutions across the East of Anglia and the south coast. We are currently seeking three dedicated and customer-focused Control Room Operators to work at our Head Office in Colchester due to recent company expansion.
The primary responsibilities will include conducting hourly check calls with our security team members working in the field, receiving alarm activations from various monitoring stations, and dispatching and tasking mobile response officers accordingly. Additionally you will be responsible for several administrative tasks, such as completing reports, and covering open shifts. A comprehensive training and induction programme will be provided.
This role requires strong customer service skills, excellent telephone etiquette, and the ability to work with computers for extended periods. The shift pattern is 4 shifts on, 4 shifts off, averaging 42 hours per week at a pay rate of £12.50 per hour. The shift pattern is 18:00-06:00.
Bank holidays worked will be compensated at double the standard rate. While a driving license is preferred, it is not essential. All applicants must hold a valid SIA license.
