As the we draw the curtain down on 2017, Oakpark Security can reflect on a strong performance during the month of December. Having anticipated and planned for a significant rise in demand from our existing customers during the Christmas holidays, the additional resources that we had put in place allowed our Business Development team to build some exciting relationships with new customers across East Anglia that required immediate assistance with their Christmas security arrangements.
These customers include:
- A technology business in Cambridge whose site had been targeted in the build up to Christmas. The financial implications of further loss over the Christmas shutdown were signficant and our team therefore stepped in to offer a team of security officers supplemented by a mobile response service.
- A transport and logistics firm in Harlow who had again had been the victim of a serious security breach during December. With a significant value of assets and stock left onsite over the Christmas shutdown, the company could not risk a repeat loss and therefore contracted Oakpark Security to provide a manned security presence to control all access into the site.
- A site in Cambridge on behalf of a major regional construction firm. With the company due to complete handover of 20 residential properties before the end of the year, a manned security presence on site was necessary to prevent any disruption to this timescale.
This was an excellent end to the calendar year and required a significant effort from a number of our management team to complete the mobilisation in accordance with the strict timescales set by these customers. We are particularly delighted to have begun consultations with all three of these clients with respect to their ongoing security arrangements and becoming their sole outsourced security partner in 2018.
